Spinach rolls


My saturday evening snack, I love them because they are simple yet flavorful and ready in no time.

Spinach rolls

Ingredients

Puff pastry sheet : 1 (from store)
Frozen spinach : 200 gms
Cheese : generous (1 cup)(mozarella/feta/emmental)
Garlic : 3 pods
Butter : 1 teaspoon
Pepper : to taste
Salt : to taste

Method

Thaw spinach on a pan until the moisture evaporates and spinach is dry, let it cool. Mix spinach, cheese, chopped garlic, butter, salt and pepper. Spread this mix on the pastry sheet and roll it, then cut into 1 inch slices. Preheat oven at 150C place these slices on a baking tray and bake till golden brown.
